Pogues in New York City

It’s official, March 17 is being changed to Saint Shane MacGowan Day. Let’s celebrate a real Irishman….and Shane lit up Gotham tonight. Terminal 5 in New York City – Five encore songs, including Night in Soho and Fiesta (complete with the cake pan to the head many times). Ah Shane, you’re the best. Pogues for sainthood. Dirty Old Town, The Band Played Waltzing Matilda, Thousands are Leaving….No Mickey Dazzle on stage in New York, just raw Pogues. There couldn’t be a better March 17.
